I've long had a fascination with maps, grids, blueprints and schematics. This piece sends me back a lot of years to a lot of good memories of days spent seeking one sort of hidden treasure or another.
Hello Mick. I'm always compelled to draw/paint the Grid images. The painting usually start off as a simple doodle of connecting lines, which I seem to draw instinctively. I enjoyed not relying on bold colours for this painting, instead trying to make the simple tones work.
